Blockade Runners
Raleigh, North Carolina
The Blockade Runners are a small group of handlers that get together to train their Flyball dogs and otherwise just to have a good time. The Blockade Runners was founded in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1996 by Mike Randall. Mike was originally with the Front Runners Flyball team based out of Michigan. No stranger to Flyball, Mike has been involved since its earliest days and even wrote a training manual in 1987.
The first person to join the Blockade Runners Flyball team was Charlene Saunders with her Border Collie, Brodie, in 1996. They now roster 23 dogs and have 10 handlers.
